Good condition implies that moving in requires only superficial enhancements, such as redecorating.

As a result, these reports suit properties from the 1920s to now, unexpanded, preserved adequately, and not exceeding five bedrooms in size.

The assessment presents plain advice, bypassing drawn-out specialised expositions. Essential problems are pointed out, but smaller features like decoration and surface damage aren’t addressed thoroughly. A ‘traffic light scheme’ accompanies each division; red for ‘Beware’ and green for satisfactory.

When a red indicator is shown, plain and uncomplicated suggestions are provided, potentially indicating the necessity for a supplementary evaluation (e.g., by a specialised organisation) to secure a sensible cost for mending or substituting that section of the structure.
