Good condition signifies that one can move into the home requiring no more than surface-level fixing up, for instance, repainting.

Consequently, Homebuyer Reports are generally appropriate for homes built from the 1920s onwards, without extensions, kept to an acceptable level, and limited to five bedrooms at most.

The document provides clear guidance, avoiding extensive technical details. Significant problems will be noted, though minor aspects like décor and superficial items won’t receive detailed attention.
